【作家コンセプト】
まだアートとは何かも知らなかった幼少期、私の家は貧乏だった。おもちゃやゲームを買ってもらえず友達もいなかった私は、代わりにお気に入りの石を庭や近所から収集し、おもちゃと友達に見立てて遊んでいた。
集めてきた石を積み木のように積み上げたり、ぬいぐるみに見立てて、石に役割と名前を与え友達として「おままごと」をして遊んだ。今はその原体験を元に、石を使ったインスタレーション作品を制作している。
積み上げたり装飾を施した石に名前を付けているが、自作の短歌を「人の名前」と拡大解釈し同義と捉え、名付けている。その名付けをもって石と短歌が一つの作品（人格）になる。
短歌（名前）に相応しいと感じる石を拾いに行くフィールドワークを含んだ制作は、偶然の積み重ねで成り立っている。
When I was a child and did not even know what art was, I used to play house, piling up stones I likened to stuffed toys and building blocks, and giving one stone to another.
On the basis of this formative experience, I create installations using stones.
I also interpret my tanka poems as "names of people" and give tanka poems as names to the piled stones. By naming the stones, the stones and the tanka poems become one work(=personality).
My creation, which includes fieldwork to pick up stones I feel are suitable for my tanka poems(=names), consists of the accumulation of coincidences.
